A year of breaking ties and making new ones, a year to make a stand for our own integrity, and a year for moving on.
This year has been so gut wrenching at times, so painful, yet so liberating and so right.
Once we knew God wanted us to move to Toowoomba, it was then a matter of waiting on His perfect timing. It became apparent when we had to move, so we blindly (by faith) made plans to leave our jobs, sell our house, leave behind all our friends and contacts and step out into the big yonder. It was a very daunting and scary thing to do, but God was so faithful in every step of the way.
We are so thankful for the people He brought across our path and at just the right time. The first of these was reuniting us with longtime friends Lindsay and Christine Ginn whom just happened to have done exactly the same thing a few months before us (except they are constantly moving, they bought a bus to minister around this great country). They were a great encouragement to us, reassuring us we were doing the right thing by following the call God had placed on our lives. We are so thankful for everything they have done to help us get to where we are.
Another blessing was all the help and encouragement we received from unexpected people, Albert Roth fixed the tiles in our house, and him and Beatrice helped us load the truck, John and Sue Erbacher, Tim and Cari Eyschen, Phil and Betty Skillington, Alyssia Keighran (you were amazing), Braedan Mitchell (if you ever want to cram another 20 items in the already full truck, Braedan is your man), Rob Skillington, Karl Pumpa and Erika Hansen and her brilliant cleaning skills. And all the people who were just an amazing encouragement to us, especially: Allan Mullaly, Sam & Bel Yerro, Keith Stevenson & Ray Aroisa.
God truely went before us to Toowoomba and prepared the way. He found us the perfect house, with really nice owners, great jobs, great church and a really good school, that is not only Christian but is academically very good and offers many more opportunities than our kids ever would have got in Hervey Bay.
It has been a very exciting year, and we feel very blessed.
2015 is looking to be very exciting and busy. Our first Verge camp is looking likely in the September/October holidays in Hervey Bay.
Preparations are happening with some exciting plans in the works.

We hope you have a nice time of refreshing over this holiday season remembering the reason Christmas exists.
Look forward to partnering with you next year.
