Countdown to Verge!!!

Just a Quick Update!

Thanks for taking the time to read this update. 

Update on Ray's Heart condition! Ray's heart has continued to be erratic at times over the last month and she's had two more trips to the emergency department, both of which resulted in an overnight stay. The last of these was this last Sunday night and on Monday morning she was seen by the hospital cardiologist, who prescribed another medication for arrhythmia (in addition to what she's already on for atrial fibrillation). The cardiologist also told Ray that she should be OK to travel to South Australia on Thursday.  We're really thankful to God for this feedback. It's a great relief for all of us. Since being discharged and starting this new medication yesterday, Ray's heart has been behaving itself.  There are however a couple of minor side effects that should hopefully pass over the next few days as her body adjusts. Thanks for your continued prayers for Ray and her heart.

Verge2016 - 10-15 July!!! With confirmation from Ray's cardiologist that she should be alright to travel, we're now getting really excited as we plan to leave on Thursday morning to head for South Australia for Verge which begins on Sunday. Only two more sleeps til we fly. This will the first Verge for Ray, Hannah, and also Josh (who may be able to participate in some of the group activities). It's also their first time to South Australia, which is part of the reason we're staying a few days longer either side of Verge. This one will be my third such camp and I'm really looking forward to spending time in God's Story with some great people from across the nation, as well as from the Philippines.  Looking forward to seeing what God does in each person's life. Following this Verge we will be starting to seriously look at seeing it run in Queensland next year!!! Please continue to pray with us for this Verge and what it will look like to see it happen in Queensland in 2017.
