Smiths' Ministry Update!

Hey!  Thanks for walking with us in this journey together.

Reflecting on 2016 - Looking ahead to 2017!!! Though at times we've been uncertain about what God is doing and what we're doing, once again God has shown Himself to be Faithful. Over the last few years that we've been on this journey, we've been stretched, challenged and blessed in so many different ways, and this year in some ways has been the most stretching for me personally.  God's breaking me out of my comfort zone and helping me to connect better with others.  It's also been a time where I've found real healing from the loss of my brother, Brett, almost three years ago, and I've come to better terms with some of the hardships we've faced over the years. VergeSA was another great highlight with the rest of the family all being able to experience Verge for the first time.  It was amazing to see the impact on them, especially on Hannah's own walk with Jesus. There are budget changes ahead with my paid job, all part-time staff in my team are having our hours reduced from the beginning of January. For me this means that I'll be paid for 1.5 days instead of 2 days a week.  We're praying for wisdom about how to move forward in light of this and are trusting that God will continue to open the right doors and continue to provide.  We see this as part of the transition and that it will allow me to give more time to ministry.
