A Whole New "Season"

Smiths' Ministry Update!

Hey there!  Thanks for walking with us in this journey together.  We're excited about the opportunities that God is giving.

"SEASON" for Teen Challenge!!! Towards the end of last year I was asked by Teen Challenge to run a series for the residents at their New Life Women's Centre in Toowoomba, and so each Monday morning for seven weeks throughout February and March I was privileged to be able to facilitate this using our "SEASON" story-curriculum.   This was an amazing time and it was great to see how the young women engaged with God's Story.  During the first episode one girl discovered, "God chose to make me.  I always thought I was a mistake."  Another shared on the final day, "That everything can be restored.  My heart, my future, my faith, my commitment." Conversations are continuing now, as Teen Challenge have asked about running this for the Men as well.  Please pray for this opening opportunity.

ATS Team Retreat Rayleen and I were able to join the rest of the ATS team, including board members, for a weekend retreat at the Nunyara Conference Centre, South Australia.  We're excited to hear the connections and opportunities that God is opening up for ATS across the nation and beyond.  It's also exciting to be part of what God is doing.

Toowoomba Streets and Lanes Festival We are planning to run our "Story of God" Walk-through experience at Toowoomba's "Streets and Lanes Festival" again this year on April 15th (Easter Saturday). It would be great to see you there.

Verge2017 There are two VERGE events planned nationally for 2017: VergeSA – Victor Harbor, South Australia – July 8th-11th 2017 VergeQLD – Toowoomba, Queensland – September 16-19 (Hosted at YWAM Toowoomba).  Yes, VERGE is coming to Toowoomba!!!  Bring your community and experience God's Story together like never before over this four day event!
